Elwood Community Playgroup supports the work of volunteer organisation, St Kilda Mums and encourages you to as well.

St Kilda Mums collects, repairs and recycles pre-loved nursery equipment such as prams, cots,
high chairs, clothes, toys and books. Through local welfare organisations such as Uniting Care and the Sacred Heart Mission these items are then donated to families in need.

St Kilda Mums is run solely by volunteers and they need to raise funds to cover costs like insurance, paint, cleaning products, etc.  They have launched a fundraising campaign whereby, if you purchase a reusable "KeepCup" online using the promotional code SKM3182, St Kilda Mums gets a percentage of the sale price.
