Teddy Bear's Picnic
Held on a Friday morning, this event has proven to be a favourite for both mums and their kids. Utilising the hall and playgroup at EBH the kids get to bring along their favourite teddy, indulge in some teddy bear treats and sing and dance to some familiar children's music. Craft tables are there for those who feel like getting creative with wool and glue and just for turning up you go into a raffle to win some great prizes. The great thing for mums is that you can get a good cup of coffee from the café! |

ECP Trivia Night
2007 saw the inaugural ECP Trivia Night, so we were delighted when it was a hit. We limited tables to mums to minimise costs (hubbies cost less than babysitters!) but some feedback suggested we open this years event up to the boys as well. A professional MC and some great wine and food got the competitive juices flowing (the non-drinking hormone heightened preggy bellies got fired up too!). The prizes were great, the most sought after was the dinner for two with four hours of professional babysitting. |

Annual General Meeting
Our president, Rachel Murphy, will outline the successes and challenges of the year gone by and announce vacant Committee positions to be nominated on the night. Last year speakers from PANDA spoke to us about recognising, helping and supporting both people with and/or post natal depression and those who live with and around them. The speaker for 2008 is still being finalised. We will let you know ASAP. |

Family Farmyard Fun Day
What better way to bring the country to the city than with goats, chickens and rabbits right at our playgroup? This is a favourite every year with both the kids and the adults. Face painting, crafts and a sausage sizzle all add to the fun of petting a guinea pig or two! |

Christmas Party
With the festive season upon us we often dont get the time to really enjoy the magic of our kids. The ECP Christmas party brings together some fabulous fun like getting your face painted or having a ball on a jumping castle (dads cant go on no matter how much you want to!) and you never know... Santa may just drop in to say hello to all the boys and girls!!! A day full of surprises for all, with the enjoyment of taking part in an event that celebrates the real spirit of Christmas in our community. |
